Overview of Summer Term 1
We had a fantastic first half of the Summer Term where we learned so much through our topics of Supertato, Superworm and Oliver's Vegetables. The children made super-veg, superheroes and did super work too!! We also planted our own potatoes and look forward to seeing them grow and thinking of ways to enjoy eating them.

Through our Handa's Surprise topic, we made fruit kebabs. The children became chefs and created their own videos with instructions on how to make them. They thought of great time connectives to join their instructions together and had super fun making and eating their kebabs. They then enjoyed taking the opportunity to make more at our Fruit Kebab Station during busy learning. Owl's Class looked at the famous artist , Guiseppe Archimboldo, who used fruit and vegetables in his portraits. Owl’s were inspired and did some incredible obersvational drawings and used water colours to paint over them, too.
